My name is Martin Cartledge and I live in the beautiful village of Ley Hill in Buckinghamshire. I have been creating abstract oil paintings for over 20 years now and have many of my works hanging in houses all over the world.
My love of abstract art started at school and it is a passion that is as strong today. My main influences are Wassily Kandinsky, Victor Pasmore and Piet Mondrian.
Creating my pieces is really a hobby for me, which is why all the artworks I produce are unique and created with the utmost care. You will not find any copies, or prints of my work anywhere!
If you have any questions about anything on this site or just want to chat about a piece, please do not hesitate to get in touch. It would be great to hear from you!
